Congressional Hispanic Caucus Meets with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

On Tuesday, February 14th, Congressman Soto joined the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in a meeting with Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations at the United States Army Corps, Major General Donald Jackson, Jr., to discuss the recovery efforts for Puerto Rico.
Major Jackson provided an update on the missions that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has directed the Army Corps to lead, including: debris removal, Operation Blue Roof, and emergency power operations.
Congressman Soto will continue to push for a quick and efficient recovery for Puerto Rico.
