Rep. Soto Honors Four Central Florida Leaders for Caribbean Heritage Month
In honor of Caribbean Heritage Month 2020, U.S. Congressman Darren Soto held a virtual ceremony recognizing four individuals in Central Florida for their accomplishments. The honorees' biographies were submitted into the Congressional Record and they received official Congressional Certificates.
"Every June, we celebrate National Caribbean-American Heritage Month while paying tribute to the contributions and accomplishments of Caribbean Americans. Our heritage is diverse, enriched by different nationalities, languages, cultures, and all beaming with pride," stated Rep. Soto. "Central Florida is home to a vibrant Caribbean immigrant community. I was proud to present four of our local leaders with Congressional recognition for their important work strengthening our district. We thank all of the honorees for their continued commitment and contributions to our community!"
The honorees were recognized by Rep. Soto in a virtualceremony on Monday, June 22nd, 2020.

With his passion for giving back, Pastor Hyde also founded Hyde's Academy in Eagle Lake to provide Computer and CPR training to the general community with the American Heart Association's support. | |

He is an accountant and consultant at the firm, where he works directly with individuals to examine the accuracy of financial statements and review financial records for tax filing; he also documents business financial transactions and compiles the necessary information to prepare entries for the company accounts. | |
