Tour Information

All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to a large number of visitors, it is recommended to request your tours at least three-four months in advance in order to process your request in a timely fashion.

We ask you to please be patient, as there are many tour requests, especially during the Summer seasons. Please visit the Washington, D.C. tourism information page for information on sightseeing and attractions.

To request a White House tour please complete and submit the Tour Request Form below.

To request a Capitol tour, please submit a request through the Capitol Visitor Center website.

These sites have the following availability:

  • White House: Public tours are available Tuesdays through Saturdays
  • U.S. Capitol Building: Public tours are available on a limited basis

The White House recently announced the construction of a White House State Ballroom in the East Wing, the only area of the White House open for public tours. The White House Visitor Center has not shared guidance on whether public tours are still available, and they are not allowing my office to process requests. My office will keep requests open and contact constituents once we receive more information.
