Congressman Darren Soto to Hold Meeting with Immigrant Community Leaders

ORLANDO, FL.- Today, Tuesday February 21, Congressman Darren Soto (FL-09) will join leaders of the immigrant community and other grassroots organizations to discuss the nation's state of uncertainty following President Donald Trump's hardline on immigration policy.

"Our hard-working immigrant communities are living in fear after a week of raids that make us less safe, a proposed wall on the border with Mexico that's too expensive and won't work, the draconian Kelly memos and all the chaos created by the ‘Muslim Ban,'" Congressman Darren Soto said. "I'm hearing horrible stories from my community and they need to be shared so that everyone understands the costs of these wrongheaded policies."
