KISSIMMEE TOWN HALL ON THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
Families across Florida's 9th District are concerned about their health care, and how Republicans plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA or Obamacare) will affect them. This past Saturday, Congressman Soto took the initiative to listen to their concerns and brief them on what he is doing to help.
The town hall begins with Darren explaining the recent history of healthcare in our nation and how the ACA is helping millions of Floridians.
People who have benefitted from the ACA, including a Valencia College student, a local nurse, and the Government Affairs Director of the FL Hospital's Central Division told their stories.
The influx of ideas and questions from constituents made this a dynamic event that elevated the voices of Central Floridians. Congressman Soto will bring back these concerns to the Capitol. Congressman Soto and his team are determined to fight for the people who told their stories, and everyone in District 9 who depends on the Affordable Care Act.
