Military Academy Nominations Event
On the evening of Friday. January 26, 2018, Congressman Soto hosted an event to congratulate the Service Academy Nominees of Florida's Ninth District. The individuals represent a diverse group that all have their sights set on the various academies including the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
All of nominees represented this generation's brightest and ambitious future leaders. With a turnout of over 70 attendees, Rep. Soto was able to speak to all of the nominees and their families about the next steps in their lives. The event ended with Rep. Soto thanking the Service Academy Nomination Board, who took time to interview each prospective nominee to the best of their abilities. Congratulations to the future leaders of this county.
