Rep. Soto Announces $1 million grant for Poinciana Health Center Program
Kissimmee, FL – U.S. Representative Darren Soto announced today the Primary Care Medical Services of Poinciana will receive a $1,945,961 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to support the Health Center program in Poinciana, Florida.
"The care and services provided by the Health Center program in Poinciana are critical for the well-being of our community. I am pleased our district will receive this grant, which will expand access to care and help improve the health of underserved and vulnerable populations in our suburban, rural communities," said Congressman Soto.
Rep. Soto has made it a priority to assist with increasing federal grants awarded to agencies, municipalities, and non-profit organizations whose work benefits Florida’s ninth district. Rep.
